Portrait making is a sub-genre in art, focusing on depicting the persona of an individual in 3-D.

It is through this genre that we can remember and venerate people who have contributed in various streams towards up-liftment of our culture and society. This genre of sculptures is also used to remember people and their persona, enhancing the enchantment & legacy they have left behind as memories. This genre is most preferred for public display by industries, institutions, organisations, corporations, trusts, and in also many instances in private residences as well.

This method of portraiture is visualized based on the photographs provided in the design brief. The dimensions and the amount of detailing can be customized further according to the client’s requirement.

Figurative:  The artwork can be done in the figurative representation format, where it involves a faithful realistic representation of the visual characteristics of the person. This calls for the use of meticulous skills of working on a clay model which can be then casted into any preferred mediums such as metal alloys, fiberglass & Plaster of Paris.

Abstract:  The artwork can be represented in the abstract format, where it involves representing the visual characteristics of a person in an abstract way. In this type of artwork, the representation is usually aided by textures and is minimalist in approach. This format involves preparing a model in clay and casting it further in to any preferred mediums such as metal alloys, fiberglass & Plaster of Paris.
